The Washington Football Team have officially canned Jay Gruden.
The now-former Head Coach was fired after a feeble 0-5 start this season. According to the Washington Post Gruden was attended a 5 AM meeting this morning (Oct. 7) with owner Daniel Snyder and team president Bruce Allen when the announcement was made.
The team moves to start over with interim coach Bill Callahan. Callahan was formerly the Skins assistant head coach. The question is can Callahan whip the team into shape?
This still remains to be seen.
