Last week was a huge week for playoff implications in the world of college football.

#3 Oklahoma was upset at home by Iowa State.

#7 Michigan saw Michigan State come into the Big House and take another game for Sparty in that series.

Here are some stats about some of this weeks games:

#2 Clemson visits Syracuse at 7 PM Friday on ESPN. The Tigers have won 12 straight road games, which is third in ACC history behind Virginia Tech’s 2009-2011 stretch of 13 in a row and the 2012-2015 FSU squads which won 14 straight.

Florida State is at Duke at Noon Saturday on ESPN2. The Seminoles have not started 1-4 since 1975. If the Blue Devils win, FSU will achieve that unfortunate stat.

Arkansas travels to Tuscaloosa to face #1 Alabama at 7:15 PM ET on ESPN. Nick Saban is 10-0 against the Razorbacks as Bama’s head coach, and Arkansas has 18 all-time losses against an AP #1 team, which is the most all time tied with Northwestern.

JMU hosts College GameDay as the Dukes will play Villanova at 3:30 PM ET Saturday on MASN. If JMU wins they will have won 18 straight, breaking the CAA record set by Richmond from 2008-2009.

UVA heads to Chapel Hill to play UNC at 3:30 PM ET Saturday on the ACC Net. The ‘Hoos have only finished above .500 in ACC play twice in the last decade. Their next three opponents (UNC, Boston College, and Pittsburgh) are 0-8 in league play heading into this week.
