UVA is one win away from bowl eligibility in October as we all thought, right? The Wahoos continue to take care of business as they play teams they are better then. In a way, it’s nice that they are gaining all this confidence now before a rough November against the likes of Louisville, Miami and Virginia Tech. Boston College is flying high right now off a win over Louisville on the road. Before we get to the analysis, here are some numbers to consider in this matchup:

  • UVA is 17-12-1 ATS the last three seasons.
  • They’ve gone under in 12 of their last 18 ACC contests.
  • BC is 14-16-2 ATS the last three seasons.
  • They’ve gone under in 22 of their last 32 games.

Boston College shocked the college football world as they racked up 45 points on the road in a win at Louisville. To put it into perspective, they had scored 45 points over the three previous games. How will the Eagles handle another road game and will they be focused here? UVA is just doing what they have to in order to win games and you can’t deny how much confidence they are playing with right now. The defense is making stops and the offense is holding the ball. There’s been a slight line movement to UVA -6.5 in certain places. I’ll probably sit out the spread but the Under could be worth a look.

Virginia 24-20
