Wayne Epps Jr, who is the beat reporter for the Richmond Times Dispatch covering VCU athletics joined me in studio to talk about the upcoming season for the Rams.

VCU has a challenging season ahead.

The Rams must cope with the loss of campus legend Mo Alie-Cox and superstar JeQuan Lewis.

A new coach is at the helm in the form of Mike Rhoades, replacing Will Wade who is at LSU.

Talented freshman line the roster and must have their talents maximized if the team wants to compete in the always difficult A10.

Plus, a difficult non-conference schedule doesn’t make it easy for the boys from the 804.

Yet, this is a program that has a standard. The expectations will always be (at bare minimum) to win 20+ games and finish in the top tier of the A10 while garnering a bid to March Madness.
