The Spiders fell to VCU in the Semi-finals of the A10 tournament last season after an impressive regular season. UR went on to play in the N.I.T. before exiting in the Quarterfinals to TCU.

The team lost star players TJ Cline and Shawndre Jones, but will look to find scoring elsewhere.

De’Monte Buckingham is a solid bet to increase his level of play and drop major buckets for UR.

Nick Sherod played great turnover free basketball but will have to take the next step if he wants to carry the Spiders to new heights.

Kwan Fore will miss the start of the season so Jacob Gilyard will have to step up his play.

The much anticipated return of Grant Golden is another storyline. What level of impact can the big man deliver?
