UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – In late February, the best of the best in football descend upon Indianapolis for the NFL combine.
Among that group this year will be Spider QB Kyle Lauletta, who was invited to the event late last week. Lauletta, who is currently training in Florida, will become the fifth spider in the past eight years to attend the event.
“It’s truly humbling to be invited to such a prestigious event and to have the opportunity to showcase my skills in front of so many executives from the around the league,” Lauletta said.
The Exton, Pa. native concluded his Spider career as the program’s all-time leader in passing yards (10, 465), passing TDs (73) and total offense (10, 651).
This past season, he became the first Spider since Greg Lilly in 1992 to be named the CAA Offensive Player of the Year after leading the CAA with 3,737 yards, 28 passing TDs and 3,827 yards of total offense.
