Virginia Tech traveled to Chestnut Hill to earn a tough win over a scrappy offensive Boston College squad, 85-80 in overtime.

BC hit seven straight free throws in order to send the game to OT.

Kerry Blackshear had 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker had 18 points in just 27 minutes.

Justin Bibbs had 18 points.

Justin Robinson had a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Once again the Hokies executed one of Buzz Williams key’s to victory.

They moved the ball well and won the turnover margin. VT had 19 assists to BC’s 16 and the Hokies only turned it over 10 times compared to the Eagles’ 16.

Next up is a home game vs. Miami at 2pm this Saturday on ESPN.
