VCU vs. George Mason, 7 — VCU’s Senior Night is tonight and it’s sure to be an emotional one for Johnny Williams and Justin Tillman who have gone through so much with the team. They’ve seen three different coaches and NCAA tournament appearances which appear to be outside of their grasp this season. The first meeting between these two saw the Rams exhibit dominance on the boards as Mason just didn’t have the size to match up. That’s not going to change in this one, BUT George Mason has played a lot better as of late. They won at St. Joe and nearly knocked off La Salle at their place. Mason’s got some scoring ability. Can the Rams handle that and take care of business in this one? Money is pouring in on VCU which is odd considering the Rams have not been a consistent wager this season. They’ve played some lower scoring games at home this season. I think they get the win. VCU 68-61

Richmond vs. UMass, 7 — It looks like Luwane Pipkins is going to play for UMass tonight and that spells a bit of trouble. The Minutemen nearly won in Fairfax without him last time out. They are a smallish team that could struggle with Grant Golden inside. The question is if the road team can take advantage of Golden on the other end. Still, even with the roster limitations, UMass has been a fun team to watch. Pipkins won’t get any love for POY, but I’d consider giving him some love for first team all-conference. Carl Pierre is an alright piece, but not enough. I was really convinced the Spiders turned the corner earlier this month, but unfortunately the losing ways have returned. This will be the last home game of the season and I think we see one of the team’s best performances. Much like VCU, money is pouring in on the Spiders which is odd considering their recent struggles. This will be higher scoring. Richmond 82-75
